What Is the Traveling Atelier

The Traveling Atelier is a private, in person perfume design session curated by Dragon Perfumes. You step into a refined, quiet space inside the city, leave the noise at the door, and spend focused time crafting a scent that reflects your life, story, and presence.

During this session we move slowly, with intention, through a guided process that blends artistry, ritual, and modern perfumery. Every accord we touch is chosen to support the way you want to show up in the world.

This experience is ideal for someone who wants a perfume that is not off the shelf, not mass produced, and not easily forgotten.

How Your Session Unfolds

Your Traveling Atelier experience is approximately 90 minutes and follows a clear yet intuitive structure:

• 1. Arrival and Atmosphere You arrive to a quiet, elevated space prepared for you. Phones go away, distractions soften, and you are welcomed into a calm environment that lets your senses lead.
• 2. Story, Intention, and Scent Profile We begin with a conversation about how you want to feel in your scent, how you tend to dress, move, and move through social spaces, and how you want others to experience you. From there, we translate your story into a working scent profile.
• 3. Accord Exploration Together we explore a curated library of accords and materials. You will smell, compare, and respond in real time while we narrow in on a palette that belongs to you.
• 4. Creating Your Sketch Blend Using the accords you respond to, we build a first version of your perfume called the sketch blend. This is a working draft of your future fragrance that lets you experience the direction of your scent on skin.
• 5. Naming and Label Vision As your sketch blend settles, we discuss the name, tone, and visual language of your perfume. We will select an existing Dragon Perfumes label or design a custom label concept for your final bottle.
• 6. After the Session Once your session ends, I take the sketch blend, your feedback, and your chosen accords back into the studio to refine and finalize your perfume over the next 30 days.

What You Leave With

You do not leave empty handed. Even though the final perfume takes time to perfect, you will walk away from your Traveling Atelier session with tangible pieces of the fragrance we create together.

• A curated set of blotters from the accords we created and evaluated during your session, so you can revisit the building blocks of your fragrance.
• A couple of milliliters of your personal sketch blend that you can experience over the next days and weeks as we finalize the formula.
• A clear understanding of your scent profile and language for how you like to smell and be experienced.

Behind the scenes, I will take up to 30 days to refine your sketch blend into the final formula. Your finished perfume will be macerated, bottled, and labeled with the design we selected or created at the end of your session. Once it is ready, it will be delivered to you as your completed, signature fragrance.

What Happens After You Book

1. Immediate confirmation. You receive an email confirming your date and time and any important arrival details for the space.
2. Pre session questions. You may receive a short set of questions or a link to the Dragon Perfumes scent profile quiz so that we can begin shaping your preferences before you arrive.
3. Session reminders. A reminder will be sent before your appointment with parking, building, and entry information.
4. Thirty day refinement. After your session, I will refine your sketch blend in the studio. Your finished perfume will be delivered to you after this quiet refinement period.
